• WordPress’ roots go back to 2001.  There are hundreds of people all over the world working on its development.  It is well-tested and well understood.
• WordPress was developed using PHP and MySQL, two extremely popular, open-source technologies that are used to power millions of web sites worldwide.
• As of November 2009, there are over 10 million sites using WordPress.

Our Experience with WordPress
ViaComp has been working with WordPress for web site development since 2006.  Since that time, we have developed and/or assisted with over 25 WordPress-based web sites.  We are committed to WordPress and, in fact, hope to be releasing some WordPress themes over the next year.
