The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to assisting people restore mobility and function through advancing research, supporting education, and promoting excellence in orthopaedic surgery and care.

One of their most important tasks involves the management and organization of patient and surgeon lists provided to them through numerous sources. These duties, being performed manually, were consuming most of their time and left them with few resources available to make use of the data they were compiling.

ViaComp developed a series of web-based tools to allow their staff, which were often spread across the country, to import, manipulate, search through, and report on their data.
