Windows 7… Wow!
Anyone who has ever spent any time with me knows how I feel about Windows Vista. It is complete and total garbage – bloated, slow, riddled with problems and incompatibilities… I could go on! I have gone out of my way to source systems (especially notebooks) for clients that would still run Windows XP. In some cases, this was a lot of extra effort, but well worth it when I could avoid having to deal with Vista.
Well… Windows 7 is out! I’ve been using it for a couple of months now myself and… it is AMAZING! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. It’s fast, it’s sleak, and I have had no issues whatsoever on any system that I’ve tried it on. In fact, I think I can say that it runs just as fast as Windows XP on most of the systems I’ve installed it on.
Windows XP was great, but it was getting dated and had some security issues. I’m glad that Microsoft has done things right with Windows 7.
